چکیده
Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the changes in pain, function, stiffness and complications over time patients with osteoarthritis who underwent total knee arthroplasty (TKA) fixed or mobile-bearing. Methods: This is a prospective cohort type performed gonarthrosis that TKA. Western Ontario McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) American Knee Society Score (AKSS) were used for clinical evaluation (pain, function stiffness). post-treatment measurements at one-year follow-up. Results: group consisted 63 mean age 63.57 ± 8.13 years. WOMAC AKSS scores improved significantly both groups time. pain score found be lower fixed-bearing postoperative first year. mobile-bearing 6 months 1 year postoperatively. preoperative period third month. sixth months. In period, no significant difference between terms radiolucent area size, infection complication development. Conclusions: Significant improvements observed types prostheses during follow-up patients. While there differences outcomes two similar complications.

Patient Satisfaction Following Total Knee Arthroplasty: Comparison of Short-Term Results in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis
Background: Due to the obvious differences in the natural course of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and osteoarthritis (OA),different functional outcomes might be expected after Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) in these distinct patients. Althoughseveral studies have reported the objective outcome of TKA in RA and OA patients, few studies have compared postoperativepatient-satisfaction levels. Methods: I...
متن کاملFixed- versus mobile-bearing total knee arthroplasty in Indian patients.
PURPOSE To compare the mid-term clinical outcomes in Indian patients after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) using a fixed- or mobile-bearing prosthesis. METHODS 120 consecutive patients (50 men and 70 women) aged 55 to 76 (mean, 63) years who had arthritis of the knee with similar deformity and range of motion were randomised to undergo TKA using a fixed- or mobile-bearing prosthesis. Patients w...
متن کاملFixed or mobile-bearing total knee arthroplasty
Fixed and mobile-bearing in total knee arthroplasty are still discussed controversially. In this article, biomechanical and clinical aspects in both fixed and mobile-bearing designs were reviewed. In biomechanical aspect, the mobile-bearing design has proved to provide less tibiofemoral contact stresses under tibiofemoral malalignment conditions. It also provides less wear rate in in-vitro simu...
متن کاملComparison of Clinical Results between Patellar Resurfacing and Non-resurfacing in Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Short Term Evaluation
Background: There is no difference in the functional outcomes 6 months after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) for kneeosteoarthritis between patellar resurfacing and non-resurfacing. Thus, we have performed this study to compare theshort-term clinical outcomes of TKA performed with and without the patella resurfacing. Methods: A total of 50 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee (OAK) were random...
متن کاملRe: Comparison of mobile-bearing and fixed-bearing total knee arthroplasty: a prospective randomized study.
The purpose of this prospective randomized study was to compare the postoperative recovery and early results of 2 groups of patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty: 107 patients received an established fixed-bearing posterior-stabilized prosthesis (Legacy Posterior Stabilized [LPS]), and 103 patients the meniscal-bearing prosthesis (Meniscal Bearing Knee [MBK]). Surgical procedures were the...
